Align and decide in ProdPad, and sync ideas and initiatives to Linear




Overview
ProdPad’s Linear integration keeps your team connected in both applications by linking your product Ideas, User Stories or Initiatives to Linear Projects, Milestones, Issues or Sub-issues. An idea’s workflow status will update automatically from In Progress to Done - with no need to update the issue in ProdPad.
Use ProdPad to synthesize customer feedback and validate product ideas from across your organization. When you’re ready, use the Linear integration to push prioritized Ideas or User stories to your development team.
How it works
Configure the Linear integration by authenticating and selecting which Teams to connect to ProdPad. If you have multiple projects, you can create an integration to cover each. There is no limit to additional integrations.
Next, set up the mapping rules for the integration. This includes which fields from ProdPad Ideas and User stories get pushed to development, and how the workflow stage of an idea will sync to the status of Linear issues or sub-issues.
After configuration, set the active integration to team-wide so that anyone in the organization can enable the integration to push initiatives, ideas, or user stories to projects, issues, or sub-issues.
Configure
As an admin in ProdPad, install the Linear integration to automatically sync ideas or sub-issue status updates to ProdPad ideas or user stories.
