Jira Link
Linear craftedSmoothly transition from Jira to Linear

Overview
If you want to switch from Jira to Linear, this integration makes the process smoother by keeping projects up to date in Jira as you use Linear.
How it works
This integration keeps Jira up to date while your company trials or transitions to Linear.
First, you'll connect specific Jira projects to Linear teams. Whenever an issue is created in the linked Jira project, the integration will create an issue with the same name and details in Linear. Then, once the issue is marked completed (or canceled) in Linear, the app will update the Jira issue and move it to the completed status in Jira. If an issue from a linked project is completed or canceled in Jira first, this status change will also update in the associated Linear issue.
There are no other updates made by this integration, as it's designed to make transitioning to Linear easier and not as a way to use both tools at once. Once you're ready to make the switch, use Linear's quick Jira importer to move over all your existing issues in a few minutes.
Configure
A Linear admin can go to settings to enable this integration, then link Jira projects to their corresponding teams in Linear.
This integration is designed to work with newly created issues. For existing tickets, import those to Linear in a few minutes using our Issue Migration Assistant.
