Share what you ship in Linear to your social media channels
Overview
BulkPublish helps teams tell their followers about the work they finish in Linear. When a project is completed, or an issue carrying a label you choose is completed, BulkPublish can prepare a social post about it from the name and the opening of its description, ready for the channels you have picked.
How it works
You connect your Linear workspace from your BulkPublish account and approve read-only access on Linear’s own screen. BulkPublish does not change anything in Linear. You decide whether completed projects, labeled issues, or both are shared, which label marks an issue as worth announcing, and how the caption is worded, using a short template.
By default each post is created as a draft on your BulkPublish calendar, so someone on your team can turn an internal title into something written for the public before it goes out. You can choose to publish right away instead, and your workspace’s roles and approval settings still apply.
Links to Linear are left out of the caption, since only your team can open them, and you can add your own release notes link to the template instead. The integration is designed to share each project or issue once, even if it is reopened and completed again, and the Linear page in BulkPublish lists recent shares, along with the reason when a post could not be created.
Configure
Open Share from Linear in BulkPublish and choose Connect Linear. Approve access on Linear’s screen, then choose the channels to share to, whether to share completed projects, issues with your label, or both, and whether posts start as drafts or publish right away. From then on, finishing that work in Linear is what prepares the post.
