Overview

Saldor is an AI software engineer. You can assign Saldor to Linear issues and it will work autonomously to submit Pull Requests for your team to review.

How it works

Saldor integrates seamlessly with your existing development workflow, acting as an async software engineer right within your team. When developers add the "saldor" label to issues in Linear, Saldor begins working in the background to understand the requirements and implement a solution. Once complete, it creates a pull request in your source code repository, allowing the team to review the proposed changes just as they would with any other engineer.

The collaboration doesn't end with the initial PR. Developers can engage directly with Saldor by tagging @saldor-ai in their code review comments, and it will thoughtfully address feedback and make requested adjustments. This iterative process ensures the final solution aligns with your team's standards and requirements, while maintaining the familiar review and feedback cycle that teams rely on.

Think of Saldor as a junior engineer on your team - one that benefits from clear context and detailed requirements. Like any team member, Saldor works best when given comprehensive information about the task at hand. While it generates quality code changes, developers should feel empowered to dive in and refine the proposed solutions, creating a collaborative environment that enhances rather than replaces human expertise.
