Overview

As the world’s only mobile release management platform, Runway empowers mobile product engineering teams to see commits and PRs, builds, stability info, and more right alongside your Linear work – then ship to the app stores, all from the same place. Runway can automatically advance your Linear issues to the next status as your releases progress, apply the correct labels to issues based on what ships with each and every release, and even gate releases whenever P0 issues are attached as showstoppers.

How it works

Once you’ve connected Linear in Runway using Runway’s Linear OAuth app, you’ll select which teams’ tickets should be pulled into Runway and specify the labeling your team uses within Linear to associate tickets with specific releases (if any).

Runway will then display tickets (of all statuses) alongside the releases they’re a part of and directly associated with related code and the people who are working on them. With builds and crash info layered on top, everyone on your team will have a complete picture at their fingertips, saving you from the noise of the same kinds of questions getting asked over and over again on Slack. And when showstopping problems come up, they’ll actually stop the show. When you create a bug ticket in Linear and label it for a given release, Runway will highlight it as pending work and gate app submission until it’s addressed.

It’s release time – do your mobile engineers and PMs actually know what you’re shipping? Runway + Linear can show you.
