Linear’s GitHub integration is so perfect it tickles my brain.

It ties task management to git. From git-blame to GitHub PR to Linear task, it’s all linked. I love the way you “stumble towards success” using it, as long as you start with the right branch name.

The app is full of positive feedback cycles. If I start a branch unconnected to a task, I’ll be making my own life harder down the line. Linear forces me to make sure that there is a task for each branch. This ensures there is context around each change and then allows my coworkers to keep up. I built a CLI tool to optimize our workflows further.
