Navigating Linear
Where everything lives and how to move around quickly.
Almost everything in Linear is reached from the sidebar, which runs from personal at the top to shared below. Anything you visit often can be starred to pin it under Favorites.
Moving around
The command menu, opened with Cmd + K (Ctrl K on Windows), runs any action or jumps to any page when you type its name.
Search opens with / and covers issues, projects, and documents across the whole workspace, including issue IDs like LIN-123.
Most destinations also have a two-key shortcut, such as G + I for Inbox and G + M for My Issues, and pressing ? shows the complete list.
Hit Cmd + / to see the full shortcut list.
Right-clicking a link to open it in a new tab doesn’t work inside Linear. Hold Cmd (Ctrl on Windows) and click instead.
