Asks sites: Beta
Create a simple web portal where employees submit and communicate about internal requests.
Asks sites are in beta for select customers on Linear’s Enterprise plan. Contact your account manager for further information about joining the beta.

Web Asks lets anyone at your company submit a request from a simple webpage: no Linear account or Slack access required.
When the requester submits the webform, an issue is created in Linear with the its details.
Communication stays clear between the submitting employee and assignee with a thread synced between email and Linear.
Employees log in to submit Web Asks with their email address, which is authenticated through a SAML setup with your identity provider.
Configure Web Asks
Create your domain
Workspace owners can enable web Asks from settings. Click + next to Web forms to create a URL. While in beta, Asks sites will be hosted on Linear’s domain. We are working on supporting custom domains so you can offer a branded URL.
Set up SAML authentication
In your identity provider, create a SAML app for Web forms and provide access to your employees and input the data provided by Linear. If your identity provider supports importing metadata for new apps, download the XML file supplied for the easiest setup.
Next, input a URL pointing to the SAML configuration, or paste in the configuration in XML provided by your IdP and submit
